Craig
Craig reads every repair on a work order and quotes the labour time it should take, automotive and powersports. Beside his number he shows what your own shop has billed for the same job, and whether that is under, over or in line with him.
The advisor decides. Craig puts the real time on the screen before the customer is quoted, so the hours the shop did are the hours the shop bills.

What Craig does on a work order
Open a repair order in CDI Parts & Service and press Suggest hours. Craig reads each repair, its parts and its write-up, decodes the unit from its VIN, and checks what is published for that year, make and model. For each repair he gives a range, a quick-job time and a full-job time, and says how sure he is.
Beside his estimate sits your shop's usual: how many times you have billed that job, the hours you billed, and whether that is under or over Craig. One tap puts the hours on the repair as a labour line with the rate and the technician already set. Craig asks a question back when a repair could mean two things, and your Logic settings decide which end of his range is recommended.
Powersports is where Craig earns his keep. There is no flat-rate guide for a 2019 side-by-side's clutch or a touring bike's valve check; Craig researches it the way a good technician would, and remembers what your shop actually took.
How Craig makes the shop money
Most under-billing is not a decision. The advisor quotes from memory, the job takes longer than the quote, and the difference is never recovered. Half an hour left off three repairs a day, at $120 an hour, is $180 a day the shop did and did not bill - close to four thousand dollars a month.
Craig closes that gap on every repair order. The advisor sees the real time next to the number the shop has been using, and raises the quote where it has been short. The money is not new work; it is the work the shop already does, billed at the time it takes.
- Under-quoted jobs are caught before the customer is quoted, not after the technician has clocked off.
- A new advisor quotes like an experienced one from the first day.
- Powersports jobs that have no book time get a defensible number.
- Warranty and internal work carry the real hours, so the shop's own time is not hidden in a flat figure.
- What the shop decides on each estimate teaches Craig your shop's own times, de-identified and aggregated.
Why dealers connect it
A shop that quotes half an hour under the real time on three repairs a day gives away the better part of a technician's day every week. Craig puts the real time in front of the advisor before the customer is quoted.
- Quotes the labour time for every repair on a work order, in the seconds it takes to open the repair order.
- Covers automotive and powersports: motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, snowmobiles and personal watercraft, where no flat-rate guide exists.
- Shows your shop's usual beside his estimate and says when you are under or over it, so under-billing is a choice, not a habit.
- Reads the repair order's concern, cause and correction, and asks a clarifying question when a repair could mean two things.
- Adds the chosen hours to the repair as a labour line with the rate and the technician already set.
- Your Logic settings decide which end of his range is recommended and the margin on top of it.

Craig Level 1 is month to month, the first month free. The free month includes 50 questions. Every paid month includes 500 questions, and each question above that is charged per question on the next invoice. A question is one repair order, however many repairs are on it; answering a question Craig asks you back is part of the same question.
Unused questions do not carry forward. The agreement states that every number Craig gives is an estimate and that the dealership decides what it quotes and bills.
